Information Security in the Voluntary Sector

Wednesday 28th September 2011: central London

A conference hosted by Paul Ticher & Matt Cook

Find out what you need to know about information security at this one-day conference

Particularly relevant for ICT professionals and senior managers with responsibility for ICT

Information security is a major headache. External threats evolve continuously; cloud computing and other emerging models for provision of ICT raise new issues; human factors tend to undermine any security approach; and the penalties for failure can be huge.

This event is for anyone who has to take responsibility for information security, without necessarily being a security expert.

Date: 28 September 2011

Time: 10.00 - 16.30

Venue: Lion Court, 25 Procter Street, London WC1V 6NY

The programme is specifically tailored for the voluntary sector. It consists of welcoming and keynote speeches, followed by three sets of workshops, in three strands: management, technical and web/cloud. You can mix and match; you don't have to stay within one strand.

The speakers and workshop leaders are all professionals with a solid background in their respective fields, have an information security specialism and an understanding of the voluntary sector and its particular concerns.

The standard delegate fee is £130. A small number of standby bursaries will be available to delegates whose organisation's income is below £500,000. Contact us for further details.

Bookings are now being taken online.
